Terms and Conditions

  1. Fees are non-refundable and required to hold the event date. For events canceled no less than 7 days before the event date, the fee may be applied toward a future date, pending availability. 

  2. Any additional time requested will be billed in 15 minute increments at $75 per artist per 15 minutes, payable at the completion of the event.

  3. If more guests attend the event than are expected, and the Artist does not have another event to attend, the Artist may stay longer if the Client so requests, and will bill the Client at $75 per artist per 15 minutes.

  4. Gratuities are not expected but  are appreciated for exceptional service!

  5. Estimated number of guests served is dependent upon all of the guests being present at the start time and ready to go one after another. For a more casual schedule, please factor in additional time.

  6. Artists will not be responsible for supervising children. Their behavior and safety is the Client’s and/or Parents’ responsibility, and Client agrees to provide proper supervision for all children.

  7. Artist is not responsible for any effects that other entertainment might have on the face painting, such as sweat (bounce houses), water (sprinklers, swimming pools), etc. Your quoted time frame does not include time required to re-do faces so please plan accordingly.

  8. Artist has been vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19 and will wear a mask covering their face and nose for any indoor events as requested.

  9. All paints and glitters that will be used during the event are cosmetic grade and FDA approved for application to the skin. We use only the safest materials, however, no product can be guaranteed not to cause a reaction to every individual person. People with skin allergies or sensitive skin should either not participate, request an ingredient list, or have the Artist perform a patch test at the beginning of the event.

  10. Artist can provide ingredient lists for those guests who have allergies, if requested at least 24 hours before the event.

  11. Client understands that darker face paints may linger and must be removed with mild soap, water, and washcloth.

  12. For safety reasons, Artist will not paint children under the age of 1, or anyone who is unwilling.

  13. Artist will not paint anyone who is or appears to be sick or suffering from a cold, cold sores, conjunctivitis, ringworm, sunburn, eczema, and any infectious skin condition or open wounds.  These determinations are at the Artist’s discretion.

  14. If the client knows beforehand of any attendees who have had exposure to COVID-19 or other infectious diseases (e.g., measles, chicken pox, pink eye) the artist must be informed at least 48 before the event, and the event is subject to cancellation without a refund of the booking fee. If the client does not inform the artist beforehand, and the artist’s equipment is subsequently contaminated, the client will be invoiced for the appropriate decontamination or if necessary, replacement of any affected equipment.

  15. Indemnification:

    1. Artist shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Client from and against any and all liability, loss, damage, injury, harm, cost, and expense, including all attorneys' fees, and all claims, suits, and demands therefore, arising out of or resulting from the acts or omissions of the Artist pertaining to its activities and obligations under this Agreement.

Client shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Artist from and against any and all liability, loss, damage, injury, harm, cost, and expense, including all attorneys' fees, and all claims, suits, and demands therefore, arising out of or resulting from the acts or omissions of the Client pertaining to its activities and obligations under this Agreement.
